howdy peeps! i apologize for my apparent demise from the electronic world, for i've been sucked into the literary world.. i can't believed i devoured.. 8 books in these few days.. woohoo!! i love to read!!!!! not books dealing with uni course or anything to that extent if you're wondering.. its too early to start on that.. i'm just devouring fiction books.. *gggrrrrrrrr* latest book is angels and demons by dan brown.. brilliant book. i'm totally in awe of mr brown.. he has such a brilliant mind and superb ablity to drop clues here and there and keep people in suspense.. yum yum..
suddenly, i crave for the curriculum in us unis.. majors and minors.. it'll be so so so great to be able to have knowledge about other things.. things that don't seem to matter much but yet intrigue the depths of your soul.. it seems ironic, and of cos, irritating, that the things you are most interested in lead you to "nothing" in life most of the time, unless you really really really have a llloooootttt of knowledge in that area and become the powerhouse in that arena.. things like symbology, astrology, astronomy bla bla bla..
and i wish i have the discipline to go read up more about the arts.. art history.. the painters, the artists, the sculptors and all the conspiracies that lie behind the pieces of canvas and museums.. before i go to europe (if i ever do), i must make sure i am relatively well versed in that area, cos i believe that's the only way things are going to make sense and only by understanding the significance of the things y0u are seeing around you can you really feel the magic of travelling.. really regretted my london and cambridge trip.. it would have been a great chance to explore the arts.. but i knew nothing about anything.. not that i do now.. but i am quite intrigued by all the stuff.. hopefully this will really end up in something.. i pray for the day when i can look at a painting and understand it's significance during the period it was created, and what the painter had wanted to imply.. aiyah, all in all, i just want robert langdon's mind for the arts.. haha..
have yu guys watched batman begins? brilliant show!!! simply brilliant! i love the way the director brings out the emotions in batman.. katie holmes is not really that drop-dead gorgeous i think.. but to each his own.. as long as mr cruise thinks she is can already.. watched a lot like love too.. that show is so porno la! the groaning and moaning.. and naked pictures.. but it has a sweet plot.. and hilarious lines.. nice show!!
betty's back! ness is back too! and baoxin is back too! bettyyyyyy... go to bangkok with us la.. 4 days only... if not only me and hp and jam.. not very fun lei.. unless we pick up some bk guys along the way.. enjoy hk jess! i'm off into the fantasy world again! ciao!
